Have a program? Bring it to NEXGEN.
We didn't build this space just for us. If you have something good to give the community, we want to host it, the room, the platform, the audience. You bring the program. We'll help it happen.
Free for mission-aligned community programs · Shared economics if it’s paid
The deal
Two jobs. You do one of them.
The reason most good programs never happen is not the teaching. It's everything around the teaching.
You bring
The program
- The expertise: you know the subject, we do not
- The program itself: what happens, in what order, and why
- Delivery: you are in the room, running it
- Your own materials, where the format needs them
We bring everything else
The room
A space that fits your format, set up before you arrive and cleaned after you leave.
The audience
The families who come here, our schedule, and our own channels. You are not marketing this alone.
Registration
Sign-ups, capacity, waitlists and the roster, handled in the same system that runs our own programs.
Payments
Checkout, receipts, refunds and the money trail. You never chase anyone for cash.
Scheduling & check-in
Your dates on the public calendar, and families checked in at the desk on the night.
Discovery
A page on this site, a slot in the schedule, and a place in what we send out.
What counts
If you can teach it, it probably belongs here.
A sample of what fits: not a menu, and definitely not a limit.
The best proposal we get this year will be something not on that list. If you are wondering whether yours counts, that is usually a sign it does, send it.
Free to the community
Mission-aligned programs offered free to the community use our space without a rental fee. That is a real commitment, and it comes with real conditions, written down here rather than discovered later.
We took “no fee, no catch” off this page. There is no fee, but there are conditions, and you should be able to read them before you spend an evening writing a proposal.
It has to be genuinely free
Free to the person attending: no ticket, no suggested donation collected at the door, no upsell to a paid course of yours in the room. If money changes hands, it is a paid program, and that is fine: it just goes down the other route.
It fits the calendar we already run
Our own programming has first call on the rooms. Free community slots go where there is genuine space, which means we will offer you a time rather than take a request for one.
Frequency is agreed, not assumed
A one-off or a short run is straightforward. A standing weekly slot is a real commitment of staffing and cleaning, so it is agreed in advance and reviewed, not something that quietly becomes permanent.
A member of our staff is on site
We do not hand over keys. Someone from NEXGEN is in the building whenever a program runs, which is what makes the safety commitments on our safety page true rather than aspirational.
Under-18s mean clearance first
Any program with young people in the room needs a background check and a safeguarding orientation completed before the first session. This is the one condition with no flexibility in it at all.
Food and equipment are their own conversation
Serving food, using the kitchen, or bringing in heavy or powered equipment needs to be raised in the proposal. None of it is a no; all of it changes what the room and the staffing have to be.
An outside organisation needs insurance
If you are running this as a business or a nonprofit rather than as an individual contributing through NEXGEN, we need a certificate of insurance before you use the space.
Paid, we share the economics
Running something paid? We agree the economics in writing before anything goes on sale. NEXGEN handles registration and payments, and what you have earned is tracked line by line rather than reconciled from memory at the end.
Agreed before it goes live
No program of yours goes on sale before there is a written agreement covering how you are paid. If you have not signed something, nothing has been sold.
More than one way to be paid
A share of the revenue, a flat fee per session, a per-participant rate, or a combination. Which one fits depends on your program and how much of the risk each side is carrying: it is a conversation, not a form.
Our membership discounts do not come out of your share
When a member pays less than the public price, that discount is our cost, not yours, your share is calculated on the full price of the seat. That is our default, it goes in the written agreement rather than resting on goodwill, and if we ever propose anything different you will see it in the terms before you sign. The alternative would mean every membership we sell quietly shrinks your cheque.
You can see the numbers
Registrations, attendance and what you are owed are tracked line by line against your program, and we show you the working when we settle. You should never have to take our word for a total.
After you propose
Where your idea actually goes
A proposal is a tracked record with a status, not an email in someone's inbox. First response within 5 business days.
Submitted
Your idea is in, with a reference number and an email confirming it.
Fit review
We check the audience, the timing, and whether we have the room.
Conversation
A real call. This is where most of the useful decisions get made.
Design & economics
The shape of the program, and, if it is paid, the written agreement.
Safety review
Clearances where young people are involved, insurance where an organisation is.
Scheduled
Dates on the calendar and a page on the site.
Open for registration
Sign-ups and payments run through our system.
You run it
We handle the desk, the room and the roster.
Settlement & feedback
What you earned, what attendance looked like, and whether it runs again.
Programs with under-18s do not get scheduled before clearances are complete. The full policy is published here.
Tell us about your program.
Start with the idea. The practical details are optional and can wait for the call, we would rather have a rough proposal than none.
Not quite a program?
- You want to share expertise but not run a whole program, Mentor instead
- Your "program" is really a podcast or a video series, UMMA Studio
