What a Saturday looks like

Four hours, five rotations.

Same rhythm every week, different activities every month.

    Arrival + warm-up

Kids settle in. Quick movement game. Team check-in.

  2. 1:30

    Rotation 1, Activity

    ACTIVITY

Cooking, coding, building, whatever the month rotation is.

  3. 2:30

    Snack + character circle

    MEAL

Communal snack. Short reflection on the week.

  4. 3:00

    Rotation 2, Activity

    ACTIVITY

Different track from rotation 1, kids get two things in one Saturday.

  5. 4:15

    Open play

Free time. Pickup games, art, the kind of stuff that ends up in their favorite memory.

  6. 4:45

    Group close + pickup

Quick share-back, du’a, pickup at the door.

What we get up to

The activity rotation.

Schedule rotates monthly. Members get the calendar first.

Cooking

Real meals, real knife skills, real cleanup.

Coding

Hour-of-code style sessions kids actually finish.

Outdoor games

Capture the flag, scavenger hunts, field days.

Story workshops

Write a comic, record a story, build a world.

Service projects

Care packages, neighborhood cleanups, real impact.

Visiting guests

Athletes, makers, doctors, builders, once a month.

Why it works

Built for the way kids actually grow.

Structured but fun

Every Saturday has a rhythm, arrive, warm-up, two rotations, snack, group close. Kids know what to expect.

Mentor-to-kid ratio of 1:6

Small enough that every kid is seen. Big enough that real friendships form.

Same kids every week

Consistent cohorts mean trust builds. By week four, they're asking when next Saturday is.
