What happens
An hour, described honestly.
Who it is for
Children aged 10 to 13, at any starting point. No sport, no team and no prior training is assumed.
In the session
A coached hour, three times a week. The work is coordination, balance and body control — running, jumping, climbing, throwing, and the strength that sits under all of them. Coaches teach a movement, the group practises it, and the measure is whether a child can do something in eight weeks they could not do in week one.
Your first time
Come ten minutes early the first time. A coach will meet you both, go through anything they should know, and take it from there. Parents are welcome to stay for the first session.
Practicalities
The things you would otherwise have to ask.
- What to wear
- Clothes they can move in.
- What to bring
- Water, Trainers
- Experience
- None.
- Modifications
- Exercises are scaled to you in the room, not afterwards.
- How long
- 60 minutes
- Cancelling
- This is a monthly place rather than a seat booked class by class, so there is nothing to cancel before a single session. Tell the coach if your child will miss one — it does not change what you pay, and it means nobody is waiting for them.
- If you miss it
- A missed session is not charged separately and not made up. The place is held either way.
- Before you start
- There is a short waiver to sign the first time.
- For under-18s
- A parent or guardian completes consent and youth-safety information before the first session.
